Homemade Strawberry Ice Cream
Strawberry Ice Cream is very tasty and creamy. It is made from crushed strawberries that might be fresh or frozen. Combining these strawberries with cream, milk and other ingredients and stirring them results in this wonderful ice cream. The recipe is very easy. It takes only 10 minutes to prepare it.

1 ¼ cup crushed strawberries, fresh or frozen
3 tbsp sugar, divided.
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
Pinch of salt
Method
At first, place the strawberries into a small bowl. Then, sprinkle two tablespoons of the sugar and the vanilla extract over the berries and toss them gently.
- Cover the mixture with plastic wrap, and then let the berries sit at room temperature for thirty minutes. After that, transfer them to the fridge to chill.
Then, put the cream, milk, salt, and remaining sugar into a small, heavy-bottomed saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, whisking until the sugar is dissolved. Make sure to remove the mixture from the heat before it properly boils – this should be when the first wisps of steam start to appear over the mixture
Pour the mixture into a shallow pan or bowl, and then place it in the fridge to chill completely – this should take one to two hours.
When the mixture is cold, stir in the berries. Pour it into an ice cream maker and process it according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Once the processing time has elapsed, transfer the ice cream to an airtight freezer container. We’d recommend using a rubber spatula or spoon, though a stainless-steel implement should work fine too.
Cover the mixture tightly, and then freeze it until the ice cream itself is firm – this should take at least four hours, and can take a little longer, depending upon the temperature of your freezer,
