Dogs are humans’ best friends. If you have a pet dog, then you know how important they are to us and how much of an integral part of our life they become. We care for our pets like we would our children and treat them as such. That is why our dogs must get the best possible treatment and food.
One delicious food that every human is a fan of but dogs never experience is Ice cream. Ice cream is every house’s favorite, but for some reason, while there is every imaginable flavor of dog food, ice cream is one aspect that people have never ventured into. But fret no more, for Dogster is here. This company aims to provide an ice cream alternative for dogs. Isn’t that amazing? Now you won’t have to hide your pint of ice cream from your buddy as it makes puppy eyes at you from the corner.
You can each have your pints!
Tasty ice cream had to get all on that, and we decided to do a Dogsters ice cream review for these ice creams. Not ourselves, of course, but by employing the services of our very talented and amazing buddies, our pet dogs. Before we get into the review, let us introduce the two amazing test-tasters for this ice cream. Meet Jayjay and Lilah, the best dogs in the world (yes, we are biased. Everyone loves their dog the most). Moving on, here is our Dogsters ice cream review of the ice creams for dogs produced by Dogsters.
The ice cream brand has three basic flavors, and we hope that Dogsters will release more flavors soon. These flavors are Cheesy Bac’n Flavor, Nutly and Cheese Flavor, and Minte Kissably Fresh Flavor. The company has ensured that each serving contains less than 100 calories to ensure that your dog remains healthy. It also follows all the health guidelines for dogs. One other thing to remember is that this ice cream is not a replacement for dog food!
It’s used to supplement the dog’s original diet.
Now, while we cannot describe the taste of the ice creams (language difference between the dogs and us), we were able to gauge what they thought about the ice cream through their reactions. Firstly, the ice creams were really easy to serve, with four cups for each serving, so all you need to do is let the cup sit for 10 minutes and then let your dog have it. Initially, both Jayjay and Lilah loved it, especially the Cheesy Bac’n flavor. They couldn’t get enough of it and be done with it in a few minutes. But then, later that day, Jayjay developed a sick stomach, and we had to take him to the vet. Jayjay has always had a sensitive stomach, so the ice cream didn’t digest well.
Dogsters Ice Cream review: by Tasty Ice Cream
The bottom line is that though the ice creams taste delicious, they should be given with caution. If your dog has a sensitive stomach, you should check with the vet before giving the ice cream to your dog.
Overall, this is a great step towards making tasty treats for dogs, and with time, it will be safe for all dogs. For now, though, we give it a thumbs up only because Lilah loved it a little too much, and she was fine afterward. Also, she might judge us hard for not giving her favorite ice cream a good review.
