The lid doesn’t even need a special type of pen – any will do!
Non-stick Interior
A non-stick interior is always a boon, regardless of what the product that you’re using is. In this case, we love the non-stick interior since it means that the inside will be so much easier to clean! The fat content of ice cream makes it tough to clean up, but a non-stick interior eliminates that problem straight away.
All pieces are dishwasher safe
This is a lifesaver! We rarely buy anything for our kitchen that isn’t dishwasher safe, since it’s so easy to simply throw things in there and then walk away. We love the fact that this is dishwasher safe, as it makes cleanup so much easier.
The Bad
The lack of color choice
This is a bit of a nitpick since there’s little to actually complain about with this product. The product online comes in green and purple, which could be a bit of a problem if you’re passionate about the design and colors within your kitchen.
The shape
We don’t like the fact that these containers have rounded edges. It means that they will have a small space at either end where you can’t quite fit things into the freezer around them. When freezer space is at a premium, this can be something that you might need to worry about.
All pieces can be separated
While this might seem like a good thing at first – it makes the cleaning process quicker, certainly, all it really means is that you’re more likely to lose a piece of the container. This can be disastrous in the long run, as losing one piece massively affects the rest of the Patelai Ice Cream Containers.
The Verdict
In truth, we would certainly consider buying these tubs. They’re a great size, and the length of them means that you’d be able to scoop from them very easily. However, we are less enthused about the fact that they come apart into separate pieces quite easily – we wouldn’t want to end up losing a piece, and that would be likely to happen in our house.
