How To Open Talenti Ice Cream?
Talenti is a company that makes a wonderful selection of assorted different gelatos and ice creams – they’re rich, sweet, thick, and delightfully luxurious! Their products are notoriously hard to open! So how to open Talenti ice cream?
However, during recent times, people have found that the lids on Talenti ice cream containers have been nearly impossible to pry open! There have been people resorting to all manner of tools and complex solutions, but is there another way?
We’ve done some research, and we’re here to tell you everything we know about Talenti ice cream, and how to get into one of the uniquely strong tubs.
The Difficulty
The difficulty of the matter is a simple one – Talenti seem to be hell-bent on screwing the lids onto their tubs of gelato as firmly as possible! This means that people simply can’t get in there to eat the wonderful dessert.
The tight-fitting lid is made worse by the fact that the entire assembly must be stored in the freezer. When things are especially cold, they actually contract ever so slightly – on an atomic level. This means that when you come to open them, they’re together more tightly than they ever would be at room temperature! It’s a nightmare!
Creative Solutions
How to open Talenti ice cream? People have come up with all sorts of creative solutions to get the lids of their Talenti ice cream containers.
Some of the more simple ideas include using a knife to pry the lid free from the jar a little, which gives you some room to twist the lid. Gently at first, but then more rapidly, a small amount of space comes in handy over time.
More absurd and dangerous ideas include drilling vertically down into the top of your ice cream container. This is a very poor idea, as it means that you can get tiny shards of metal and plastic within your ice cream, which can seriously harm your digestive system.
The Resolution
A wonderful resolution that people came up with fairly quickly is quite simple indeed. All you need is your tub of ice cream and a butter knife!
Hold the tub of ice cream in front of you, and (holding the blade of your butter knife) swing the handle down at the lid. Strike it in the direction that it should open (anti-clockwise) two or three times, and then rotate the jar in your hand about ninety degrees clockwise. Hit it again, and repeat as necessary. After two or three iterations of the hitting process, you should be able to remove the lid with your fingers – it will be loose enough!
Talenti also released a statement a while ago detailing the fact that they had a problem with the machine that attaches the lid to the tubs. They have now corrected the issue, so the lids shouldn’t be quite so hard to remove.
However, if you still have trouble – you know what to do!
